Privacy Policy

Effective July 28, 2026

KidSync helps parents find kids' activities and manage the family logistics around them. This policy explains what we collect, why, and what we never do with it. KidSync is operated by Nando Labs LLC ("we", "us").

What we collect

Account information you provide: your name, email address, city, state, and zip. Family information you provide: the first names, birth years, and optional details (like activity interests, allergy or medical notes) of the children you add, and the names of trusted drivers you add. Usage information: activities you favorite, calendar events you create or import, and reminder preferences. Payment information is collected and processed directly by our payment processor; we never see or store card numbers.

Children's privacy (COPPA)

KidSync accounts are for adults. We do not knowingly collect information directly from children under 13; all child profile information is entered by a parent or guardian, for the parent's own use, with recorded parental consent. Child information is never sold, never used for advertising, and never shared with third parties except the service providers below acting on our instructions. Allergy and medical notes are used only to display back to you and to assist form filling that you initiate; they are never sent to AI models, analytics, or any other third party. You can delete a child profile, or your whole account, at any time in Settings, and deletion is immediate.

Service providers

We use a small set of trusted service providers, under contract, to run KidSync: secure hosting and database infrastructure, a payment processor (which handles your card details directly; we never see or store card numbers), a calendar service for the calendar sync you choose to connect, and an email delivery service for the emails you ask for. Activity photos, ratings, and reviews are shown live from Google. Activity listings are built by reading public provider websites; that process handles public business information only, never your family's data.

What we never do

We do not sell personal information. We do not show ads or share data with advertisers. We do not use your family's information to train AI models.

Security and retention

Data is encrypted in transit, and access is controlled row by row in the database so one family can never see another's data. We keep your information while your account is active and delete it when you delete your account; see our data retention policy for exact timelines.

Your choices

You can view and edit your family's information in Settings, export your calendar, unsubscribe from emails, cancel your subscription, or delete your account entirely. For anything else, contact us at support@kidsync.com.

Changes

If this policy changes in a meaningful way, we will note the new effective date here and email account holders before the change takes effect.
